You’ll take ownership of revenue recognition under ASC 606, manage PPA settlements, and reconcile high-volume operational and financial data across multiple systems. This role is ideal for someone with power market experience who enjoys both technical depth and building processes from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Own revenue recognition and settlement accounting

  • Manage monthly revenue close and reconciliations

  • Analyze and reconcile ISO/RTO and counterparty data

  • Improve data flows, controls, and automation

  • Partner cross-functionally with commercial teams

What You Bring

  • 6–10 years revenue accounting experience

  • Strong power settlement background

  • Expertise in ASC 606

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

  • Builder mindset with strong technical instincts

: B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
: 6–10 years progressive accounting experience Significant revenue accounting exposure Power generation, IPP, utility, or merchant trading experience Direct experience with PPAs and settlements Experience in scaling or first-time revenue environments preferred

  • Own revenue recognition under ASC 606

  • Review contracts and identify performance obligations

  • Manage monthly revenue close and journal entries

  • Prepare and review complex power invoices

  • Reconcile generation data, settlements, and statements

  • Partner with Commercial and Market Operations teams

  • Allocate revenue per lease and ownership agreements

  • Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies

  • Build scalable revenue accounting processes

  • Design and implement internal controls

  • Support audits with revenue schedules and documentation

  • Hands-on PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) accounting

  • Power settlement and reconciliation expertise

  • Advanced Excel (large dataset analysis)
